About Us
The IRAN FREEDOM FOUNDATION holds that:
- Mode of worship is man's most private domain and no one has
the right to intervene between the created and the creator.
- As there is not a single model of incorrupt, bloodless and successful
religious government in the history of man, IFF strongly supports
the principle of seperation of government and religion. Believing
that marginalizing the supreme power of the Creator into a limited
partnership, or a government, would demean and debase the spiritual
relations between man, nature, and God; thus, ultimately denigrating
the moral and ethical standards impressed upon human beings by
their religious beliefs.
- Iranians are fully capable of governing themselves and have
the right to be free and in control of their own destiny. Iranians
deserve the opportunity to employ and empower a government of
their own choosing, which would be entrusted with their majority
will in order to protect their lives, heritage, freedom, property,
and independence, as well as Iran's territorial integrity.
- Iranians can achieve these lofty goals through a peaceful and
democratic means and instruments of democracy only, such as: free
elections, constitutional assembly, constitutional convention,
and a constitution enshrined with secular principles and a Bill
of Rights.
- It is only through a freely elected government that the Iranian
people can have a government responsive to their aspirations and
to the changing times, capable of living in peace with Iran's
neighboring countries and other nations of the world; drawing
its ethical and moral principles from true Islam while being separate
from the religion. Such a government must accept honors, and promotes
the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
- As the overwhelming majority of Iranians still reside in Iran,
no conscionable person of democratic persuasion from overseas
would even entertain the fantasy of ruling Iranians in the future.
IFF has not, and will not support or endorse any individual or
organization outside the country without the direct majority support
of Iranians.
The Iran Freedom Foundation speaks on behalf of those
who cannot. The IFF is determined to carry on with its mission and
will continue efforts towards its ultimate goal of a free and humane
Iran. As change in Iran is only a matter of time, IFF tries to organize
Iranians to be in the best possible position capable of influencing
the inevitable change for the better.
The IFF believes that there is a strength in togetherness
from which free Iranians can gain consensus to make things happen
in favor of their oppressed people and their battered homeland, Iran.
Iran Freedom Foundation urges all who desire to see
such freedom, to join and support its activities. The IFF considers
itself to be accountable to free people everywhere. The IFF encourages
Iranians to emerge from behind the curtain of apathy and indifference.
The IRAN FREEDOM FOUNDATION urges overseas Iranians and, indeed, men
and women of good conscience who are living in societies blessed with
freedom, to support this non-profit, tax-deductible, organization
whose aim and objectives are clearly indicated in its title.
